About Us

Established in 1992, Active Assistance provides the very best live-in care for adults and children with physical disabilities.

We specialise in supporting adults with a high level spinal cord injury but also support people with progressive and neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease and Muscular Dystrophy. In 2006 we extended our service to support children and young adults.

Unlike many domiciliary care agencies, we employ a Nursing Team who supervise the service we provide to our clients and support our PAs. Each member of our Nursing Team has specialist skills and knowledge relevant to the client group we support.

Because our service operates throughout England and Wales, there is lots of opportunity for travel whilst working with us. Our head office is in Sevenoaks, Kent and we have regional offices in Sheffield, Telford, Gloucester, Southampton and Callington, Cornwall.
