Training
All PAs are required to attend and successfully complete our comprehensive 5-day residential training course in care before starting work with our physically disabled clients. The training course is delivered by our own specialist training team and takes place at our dedicated training facilities in Sevenoaks, Kent.
On successful completion of the Induction Programme, all PAs receive certificates for First Aid, Safer People Handling and Care in accordance with Skills for Care Training Standards.
As driving and language skills are so important to our clients we also arrange for additional coaching in these areas for those PA candidates who come from outside of the UK.
Annual update training is provided to ensure that your care skills and knowledge remain current while you are working as a PA with Active Assistance.
